Clairvoyant Training l in Fall 2014

    Some of you may be interested in taking the first level of Clairvoyant Training. I am offering it in Sutton, Quebec this Fall - at the Sutton Yoga Center.
   The course is two weekends - September 27 -28 and October 25/26/2014.

La chef de chœur Trisha Pope va démarrer une chorale communautaire de musique inspirée par la rencontre entre l’Afrique et l’Amérique, une musique qui parle de liberté et d’esprit.

Si vous aimez la puissance bouleversante qui se produit quand nos voix s’unissent pour le bien commun:

Si vous êtes inspiré-e-s par la belle musique gospel, les ‘spirituals’, les chants, les hymnes et les chansons de l’époque des droits civils aux États-Unis;

Si vous appréciez ce qui devient possible quand tout le groupe travaille ensemble pour atteindre l’harmonievocale;

Si vous êtes prêts à vous engager à une certaine discipline en répétant entre les pratiques et en y assistant;

Si l’idée de chanter en groupe occasionnellement lors d’évènements communautaires vous plaît;

Si vous êtes disponible les lundis soirs à partir du 6 d'octobre 2014

African American Singing July 13/2014

Hello Everyone!
   There is another day long African American Singing Workshop on Sunday, July 13th at the Sutton Yoga Center. The cost is $35. It runs from 10 am to 4 pm. Bring a lunch and enjoy the beautiful gardens and views from the workshop grounds. This is always lots of fun and don't worry if you think you can't sing. This is open to people with all of levels of experience in choral singing.
  I hope you are enjoying this lovely summer. The flowers are springing up everywhere.

spring 2014

Good Morning
    I hope you are all enjoying the small spring flowers and buds poking their heads up through the ground and from tree branches. I am!


  A quick summary of workshops.
1. The Song Circle at the Sutton Yoga Center will be finishing in the middle of May for the summer. I will be starting them up again in September. Please check the Song Circles page of my website for more information on format.


2. It is in the air that I am starting a performing Gospel Choir in the fall of 2014. It will take on 'bigger' pieces of music than the song circle and be in rehearsal mode for performance. The performances will be rhythmic and interactive with the audience. Let me know if you are interested!


3. I just finished teaching Clairvoyant Training 11 and probably will teach 111 in the early Fall. I have had quite a few people contact me who are interested in Clairvoyant Training l. I will probably launch that in the Fall. Check my website for the details on the courses.


4. I am heading off to Halifax in the beginning of June to sing in duo in a concert with Holly Arsenault - the fabulous jazz pianist. Hallelujah!  We will be doing the African American Singing Workshop in Halifax as well. She will be accompanying on piano which sounds pretty enticing to me!


5.  The African American Singing Workshop will happen again at the Sutton Yoga Center in July/2014. Not sure of the date yet. The last one in March was a real joy!  I love those days.
